Sea Kayak Ucluelet Harbour, Vancouver Island
Ucluelet harbour is ideal for paddling a kayak in sheltered conditions. It features a range of marine environments from rock cliff to mud flat. Bird life abounds and two salmon streams are within paddling range. Black bears are often seen at water's edge. This is a safe, enjoyable trip for anybody.
Sea Kayak the Broken Group Islands
The world-renowned Broken Group Islands lie just four miles from our front door. This Pacific Rim National Park Reserve provides some of the finest salt-water paddling in the world, from narrow, protected bays and channels to the thundering majesty of open-ocean reefs. Watch bald eagles fish and sea lion colonies roar; explore kelp beds, and even tour the archeological dig of a 2,000-year-old native habitation site (in season). We'll shuttle you out to the islands, and pick up you and your kayaks for a shuttle back to Ucluelet.
