Are you ready for another exciting fishing adventure on Vancouver Island in 2008? This new year season starts in February with the Winter Seafood Safari. We fish the protected waters around Ucluelet and Barkley Sound for prawns, crabs, and Chinook Salmon as big as 25 pounds. This fishery culminates with the herring spawn in March when the Humpback and Gray whales, Eagles and Sea lions abound and remain till the fall.
